Welcome to Some Hylian Kid!

My name’s Joey Keeling, and I started this blog in the summer of 2011 because I couldn’t believe there were so many people out there that were just as passionate about The Legend of Zelda as I was, and I wanted- needed- to take part in that. 

I love this series, and I love the community built around it that I’ve found on the internet. I love the music, I love the fan art, and I love the connection I feel with you other kindred spirits, you Hylian-Americans. (or -Anglicans, or whatever country you happen to be from.)

Aside from this blog, I’m also a writer, a drummer, and a sailor in the United States Navy, set to ship off on July 3 to be trained as a Nuclear Engineer. Also, I have a love for artfully run-on sentences. 

I love discussing things with other fans, so feel free to contact me with the smallest whim that occurs to you, Zelda-related or not; better yet though, I challenge you to stump me with a question- any question!
